When not dedicating her time to improving upon her craft, she can be found curled up with a good book, or eternally searching for her next favorite scary movie. Though, those occasions have become rare as her two six-year-old twins keep her preoccupied with soccer practice, gymnastics, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. Emily’s debut collection of short stories, The Dakota, is currently in the works with an unknown completion date, but promises to bring readers into the world of a waking nightmare that no one can escape from.
